Pharmacodynamics is one of the most important concepts in pharmacology and pharmacokinetics-related competitive examination preparation. It explains what a drug does to the body and describes the biochemical, physiological, and molecular effects produced after a drug interacts with its target. The study of pharmacodynamics begins with understanding the types of drug action.
