प्रोटोजोआ का वर्गीकरण (Classification of Protozoa)

प्रोटोज़ोआ को एनिमेलिया साम्राज्य (Animelia Kingdom) और उप-राज्य प्रोटिस्टा (Sub kingdom Protistsa) में रखा गया है। उनके गमन अंगों (Locomotive Organ) के आधार पर उन्हें निम्नलिखित चार समूहों में वर्गीकृत किया गया है।

  1. अमीबा: अमीबा प्रोटीस (Amoeba: Amoeba proteus)।

  2. सिलिअट्स: पैरामीशियम (Ciliates: Parmecium)।

  3. फ्लैगेलेट्स: जिआर्डिया इंटेस्टाइनलिस (Flagelletes intestinalis )।

  4. स्पोरोज़ोआ:प्लाज्मोडियम (Sporozoa: Plasmodium)।

Disease caused by amoeba: Amoebiasis or Amoebic dysentery or frequent stool with blood and mucus, and inflammation in the liver.

Diseases caused by paramecium (Balantidium coli): Infect the large intestine of the human to cause the disease balantidiasis. Symptoms are diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and occasionally dysentery.

Disease caused by Flagelletes intestinalis: Inflammation in the intestine.

The disease caused by Plasmodium causes malaria.
